Configure the App itself, then select an item to control its behavior, data, validation, and presentation.

- Go to Configuration → Apps and edit the App.
- Open the Props tab.
- Select the App header bar to configure the App, or select a form item to configure that item.
The Props tab shows settings for the selected App or form item. Select the App header again when you need App-level settings.
App-level propertiesDirect link to App-level properties
Use the App header bar to configure properties that apply to the whole App.
| Area | Properties |
|---|---|
| Workflow mode | Onboarding app, Password reset app, and Use service variables enable the variables and form roles needed by those workflows. |
| Dashboard identity | Display name, Description, Categories, Sort order, and Image control how the App appears on the dashboard. |
| Layout & theme | Form size, Center vertically, Modern theme, and light or dark background images control the App's presentation. |
| Color overrides | Clear Color settings default to configure App-specific light and dark background colors and opacity. |

- Verify workflow modes and service variables.
- Test item values, validation, and actions with safe data.
- Test dashboard name, description, category, order, and icon.
- Review light and dark themes, including App-specific color or background overrides.
