The password reset App guides a user through identity lookup, verification, password change, and confirmation. Publish it at:
https://<NIM-Hostname>/passwordreset/<Profile Name>
Choose an identifier users can reliably provide, such as an employee ID, username, or email address. It must be unique enough to identify the intended password-reset profile record.

Before making the App available to users, configure:
- a profile lookup that matches each user to the right internal password-reset record;
- at least one notification method for verification codes;
- password synchronization or target-system actions for every account that should be reset;
- password policy and error messaging; and
- a secure public URL and support process for users who cannot complete verification.
Use Password Reset profile configuration to set up the App, lookup filter, forms, actions, messages, and security limits. Follow the Self-Service Password Reset tutorial for a worked setup.
