Configure NIM

Configuration

Set the platform-wide controls and reusable building blocks that make NIM secure, consistent, and easier to operate.

Configuration is where you establish platform behavior and build reusable components that support identity workflows across NIM. It complements the Systems, Processing, Output, and Apps areas; use those areas to model data and automate identity outcomes.

  1. Complete Settings after installation: license, HTTPS, certificates, notification delivery, and backup strategy.
  2. Add Variables for values reused by multiple workflows instead of repeating them in individual items.
  3. Configure systems and identity workflows, then use Validation whenever you change a dependency or see an error.
  4. Use Logs and Administration & operations to monitor and troubleshoot the running environment.
