Use data panes in NIM Studio

NIM Studio guide

Preview exactly the records you need, inspect one record in context, and export the visible result safely.

NIM displays 1,000 rows in a data pane by default. Search and export use the displayed preview rows. The input value is the requested count; the value in parentheses is the count returned by NIM.

info

NIM processes only the requested rows. With duplicate exclusions or relation-driven processing, request a larger value until the returned count stops increasing. For very large filters, this may require a count much higher than the expected rows.

In mappings, name generators, password generators, and similar features, select Select Row, choose the record in the dialog, then select Select. NIM loads that row’s data for the preview.

For the original data outside the preview limit, locate the relevant file under C:\ProgramData\Tools4ever\NIM. For example, an Active Directory users collection is stored under sysdata\systems\ad\<YYYYMMDDHHMMSS>.
