Keep small, controlled reference datasets in NIM and make them available to your data model.

Go to Configuration > Settings > Lookup Tables. In Tables, select Add, enter a table name, and select Add.
Create a table from a fileDirect link to Create a table from a file
Select Add in Tables, enable Import File, and choose the CSV file. Set its delimiter (a comma is the default) and enable First line contains column names when the file includes a header row. Select Add to import it.
Build the data structureDirect link to Build the data structure
Select the table in Tables, then select Add in Columns. Enter the column name and select Add. Set its type from the column dropdown and use the edit icon to rename it when necessary.
Enter reference dataDirect link to Enter reference data
In Data, select Add to create an empty row, then enter values in the appropriate columns. Repeat for each reference value you need.
Add it to the Internal systemDirect link to Add it to the Internal system
Go to Systems > Internal > Configuration, select the lookup table in Available tables, and save. It can then be used in relations and filters.
