Maintenance mode
Settings guide
Protect changes that need exclusive access without interrupting work already in progress.

NIM automatically enables maintenance mode while restoring a repository or snapshot and during an upgrade. Administrators can also enable it manually from Configuration > Settings > Maintenance.
Non-administrators cannot sign in while it is active. Existing non-administrator sessions are signed out when the configured maintenance notification timeout expires.
Set Maintenance mode notification timeout under Configuration > Settings > Preferences. The value is in seconds and controls the delay before maintenance mode activates and non-administrator users are signed out.

Use Currently Executing Work to see jobs and tasks that must finish before maintenance begins. Scheduled Maintenance Work shows the pending restoration or upgrade that is waiting. Coordinate the window and avoid forcing dependent automation to run.
