Claim your prepared account through NIM Onboarding, verify your identity, and create your first password without receiving a credential by email.
At a glance
NIM Onboarding helps you activate an account that your organization prepared for you. You use the onboarding invitation or approved link to locate your record, complete the configured identity-verification step, create your first password, and receive the account details provided by your organization. The exact verification questions, one-time passcode method, and additional information depend on your organization’s onboarding process.
Activate your account
- Open the onboarding invitation or link supplied by your organization.
- Enter the requested information to locate your prepared onboarding record.
- Complete the configured identity-verification step, such as a question-and-answer challenge or a one-time passcode.
- Create your first password when the onboarding flow requests it.
- Complete any additional information requested by the onboarding form.
- Review the confirmation and account details provided at the end of the process, then sign in as instructed by your organization.
Keep your account secure
- Complete onboarding only through the invitation or link supplied by your organization.
- Do not share verification codes, account details, or your new password.
- Review the information you enter before submitting it.
- Set up multi-factor authentication after activation when your organization requires or offers it.
If onboarding does not work
Contact your NIM administrator or organization’s support team if the invitation is unavailable, your record cannot be found, you do not receive a verification message, or the final account action does not complete. Include the non-sensitive error message and the point where onboarding stopped. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, or screenshots containing personal or account information.
