Set the matching logicDirect link to Set the matching logic
Use the filter toggle to choose OR or AND logic, and use Invert where a condition must not match. Save, then select this filter in the relevant event action.
Example: Notify a department head when a user is createdDirect link to Example: Notify a department head when a user is created
Suppose a User Create mapping receives a DepartmentID input. You want its notification to go to the department head only when the new user belongs to department 123.
- Create an event filter for the mapping event, using the same Event Type and Event Name as the User Create mapping event.
- Add a condition with Property set to
DepartmentID (input), Operation set toequals, and Value set to123. Leave Invert off, then save. - In Events > Actions, select this filter for the matching mapping event action. Choose a notification template addressed to the department head and enable Success so the message is sent after a successful creation.
With this single condition, the OR filter setting shown in the screenshot does not change the result. If you add more conditions, choose AND when all of them must match. The filter controls whether the action runs; the notification template controls who receives the message.
Edit or remove an event filterDirect link to Edit or remove an event filter
From Events > Filters, select Edit Event Filter to change its conditions or Remove Event Filter to delete it. Review every action that uses a filter before removing it.
To reuse a filter, select Copy Object; the copy receives a numbered suffix such as _01. To rename a filter, select Rename Object, enter the new name, and press Enter.
