Update Email Addresses

Aeries SIS guide

Configure output mappings to update staff or student email addresses in Aeries.

Configure and test the Aeries SIS connection.
Create and verify a filter that selects only the users whose email addresses should be updated.
Confirm the source email values and Aeries identifiers are populated for every selected record.

Update staff email addressesDirect link to Update staff email addresses

In NIM Studio, go to Output > Mappings and select Add.
Set System to Aeries, Target to staff, and Function to staffUpdate.
Name and save the mapping.
Select the filter for the staff records to update.
Map the required values:

Aeries field Required value
ID The Aeries staff identifier for the record.
EmailAddress The email address to write to Aeries.

`EmailAddress`	The email address to write to Aeries.

In NIM Studio, go to Output > Mappings and select Add.
Set System to Aeries, Target to students, and Function to studentUpdate.
Name and save the mapping.
Select the filter for the student records to update.
Map the required values:

Aeries field Required value
StudentID The Aeries student identifier for the record.
StudentEmailAddress The email address to write to Aeries.

Validate the mappingDirect link to Validate the mapping

Before enabling automated output, test with a limited set of records. Confirm that the filter selects the intended people, each record matches the correct Aeries identifier, and the email value is correct. Review the output results for errors before expanding the filter.
