The Anthology CampusNexus integration connects Tools4ever NIM to the Student REST APIs. Collect student and enrollment data for downstream account provisioning, and use the connector's supported write operations for configured student-record updates. Available data includes Students, StudentEnrollmentPeriods, StudentGroups, and StudentGroupMembers.

Before you start: Obtain the Hostname and an Application API Key with access to the required Student APIs. Follow the connection guide to create and encode the key.

Verify success: The connection test checks UsaStates OData access. Then collect a known student and the enrollment or group records your process requires. Access to UsaStates alone does not validate every student collection or write operation.

  1. Select a stable student identifier and verify it is unique in the population you will provision. Review the relationships between student, enrollment, and group records in the collected data model.
  2. Define which enrollment or status records qualify a student for an account. Use a filter to apply that rule and an inter-system relation to match existing target accounts.
  3. Evaluate a downstream provisioning job for one safe record before enabling scheduled changes.
  4. For changes back to CampusNexus, choose only an operation supported by the relevant collection. For example, Students supports updates, StudentRelationshipAddresses supports creation, and StudentSchoolDefinedFieldValues supports creation and updates in the documented connector.
  5. Test each intended write separately with an approved record and confirm the result in CampusNexus. Successful collection does not prove that the API key has write permission.
