Ensure that the Windows account running the NIM service can access the folder and read the CSV files. For a network share, check both share and file system permissions for that account.
NIM requires Path for Files, pointing to the folder containing the CSV files you want to collect.
Verify access by collecting data
Test Connection always returns success for this connector. This result does not verify the path, permissions, or file contents. Run a collection from the system to test the connection.

- Place the CSV files in a folder accessible from the NIM server.
- Grant the account running the NIM service access to that path and read permission on the files.

Test access by collecting filesDirect link to Test access by collecting files
- Run a collection from the CSV File system in NIM. Test Connection always returns success and cannot verify file access.
- Confirm that collection completes successfully and inspect the records imported from each selected file.
- Check that the expected columns and values are parsed correctly. Adjust the Parsing settings where needed and collect again.
- If collection fails, verify Path for Files, the selected files, and the NIM service account's folder and file permissions.
- Validate the imported records and matching rules before using the CSV system as source or supplemental data for automation.
