The Tools4ever integration is currently not listed in the marketplace. Request that it be added manually to your Epic environment, or use your own integration configured for the operations NIM requires. Work with your Epic administrator or support contact to arrange access.
NIM requires Hostname, Client ID, Username, and Password.
Verify the connection with a collection
Test Connection always returns true for this connector. It does not verify credentials or API access. Attempt a collection to test the connection.

- Ask your Epic administrator or support contact to add the Tools4ever integration manually, or configure your own integration for NIM.
- Obtain its Client ID and confirm the Hostname for the intended environment.
- Obtain the Username and Password for the account NIM will use.
- Arrange access to the user collections and lifecycle operations required by your process.

| NIM setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Hostname | The Epic host for the intended environment, in the format expected by the Connection screen. |

| Username | The account supplied for NIM's access. |
| Password | The password for that account. |
Verify access by collecting dataDirect link to Verify access by collecting data
- Attempt a collection from the Epic Systems system in NIM. A successful Test Connection result alone does not validate the connection.
- Confirm that the collection completes and inspect the user data needed by your process.
- If collection fails, review the error and verify the Hostname, Client ID, credentials, network access, and integration permissions with your Epic administrator or support contact.
- Validate user matching and field mappings, then test each intended lifecycle operation with safe records before enabling automation.
A successful collection verifies the selected reads. Validate permissions for user creation, updates, and deletion separately.
