Obtain a Frill API key, configure the tenant URL and token in NIM, and test access to ideas.

Create API key access using the Frill authentication documentation. Frill provides the API key in its dashboard. NIM requires Tenant URL and Token.

Obtain an API keyDirect link to Obtain an API key

Sign in to the Frill Dashboard with an account authorized to manage API access.
Locate the API key following the vendor documentation linked above and obtain the key for the integration.
Store the key securely and record the API URL for the connection. Frill's documented API base URL is https://api.frill.co.

In NIM Studio, open Systems > Overview and add a Frill system, or select the existing system.
Open its Connection screen.
Enter the following settings and save the connection.

NIM setting	Value
Tenant URL	The Frill API base URL, `https://api.frill.co`, unless your integration uses a different vendor-provided URL.
Token	The API key obtained from the Frill Dashboard.

Test idea accessDirect link to Test idea access

Select Test Connection. NIM calls this endpoint using the configured Tenant URL:

GET /v1/ideas
```
The request checks access to ideas.
Confirm that the test succeeds. If it fails, verify the Tenant URL, API key, and API access.
Collect the system and inspect followers, ideas, and comments to confirm that the expected data is available for your audit.
Validate intended follower creation and deletion with safe test records before enabling automation or exposing follower management actions through NIM Apps.

The connection test reads ideas. Validate follower and comment collection, and each intended follower management operation, separately.
