Connect NIM to Google Workspace with a Google Cloud service account, P12 key, domain-wide delegation, and customer ID; then test the connection and collect data before automating changes.

NIM connects to Google Workspace with a Google Cloud service account, its downloaded P12 key, domain-wide delegation, and the Google Workspace customer ID. The service account must be authorized for the Google APIs and OAuth scopes that NIM uses for the identity data and operations you intend to manage.

Before you start: Create a Google Cloud project, enable the required APIs, create the service account and P12 key, authorize its client ID through Manage Domain-Wide Delegation, and record the customer ID. The account used as the Directory (Tenant) ID needs the documented Google Workspace administrator roles.

Verify success: Add the P12 certificate to NIM, enter the service-account and tenant details, save the Google system, and select Test Connection. Then collect the system and verify that the expected Google Workspace tables are available.
