Follow the vendor's API key and authentication instructions. You need the Form Admin or People Admin role to generate an API token. Tokens belong to individual users; use the account approved for this integration.
NIM requires Hostname and API Key.

- Sign in to the Informed K12 account that will supply API access.
- Select the avatar in the upper-right corner, then API Keys.
- Generate a new API key and copy it immediately. Informed K12 displays the token only once after generation.

Test SCIM schema accessDirect link to Test SCIM schema access
-
Select Test Connection. NIM attempts to retrieve schemas using:
GET /v1/scim/v2/Schemas -
If the test fails, verify the Hostname, API Key, network access, and API account permissions.
-
Collect schemas and users, and confirm that the expected records are present.
-
Validate user matching and field mappings, then test user creation and updates with safe records before enabling automation.
The connection test checks schema retrieval. Validate user reads, creation, and updates separately.
