Configure Connection
RallyOnline guide
Arrange API access with RallyOnline Support, configure the form connection, and collect data to verify access.

Contact RallyOnline Support to set up an API key for retrieving form data. Confirm the hostname and form identifier for the data NIM will collect.
NIM requires Hostname, Client Secret, and Form ID.
Verify the connection with a collection
Test Connection always reports success for this connector. It does not validate credentials or form access. Perform a system collection to test the connection.
Obtain access to form dataDirect link to Obtain access to form data
- Ask RallyOnline Support to configure an API key for the form data your process requires.
- Obtain the Hostname, API key, and Form ID for the intended environment and form.
- Confirm that the API key can read that form's data and store it securely for NIM.

- In NIM Studio, open Systems > Overview and add a RallyOnline system, or select the existing system.
- Open Connection, enter the following settings, and save.
| NIM setting | Value |

Verify form access by collecting dataDirect link to Verify form access by collecting data
- Perform a system collection in NIM. A successful Test Connection result alone does not verify access.
- Confirm that the collection completes and that records from the intended form are present.
- If collection fails, review the error and verify the Hostname, Client Secret, Form ID, network access, and form permissions with RallyOnline Support.
- Validate record matching and field mappings before using the collected form data for downstream provisioning.
The connector exposes Read for the configured <Form>. Validate that the collected records contain the information required by your downstream process.
