The Skyward SMS 2.0 integration uses the Progress OpenEdge driver, version 11.7 or later, to connect NIM to the Skyward database. Start with the connection guide, confirm database connectivity from the NIM server, and review the supported operations below before configuring automation.

Before you start: Review the Skyward ODBC Launch Kit linked in the connection guide. If database access requires a VPN, prefer a site-to-site VPN for the unattended NIM service.
