Create, run, and monitor jobs
Controlled execution
Combine mapping and role operations, preview their impact, then run and monitor changes as a controlled unit.
A job runs its configured operations sequentially by ascending index. Most production jobs are scheduled with sync tasks; manual execution is useful for validation and controlled exceptions.

Add a job item and select its type:
| Type | Select |
|---|---|
crud | The mapping to execute. |
groupmembership | The target system whose active role-model changes should execute. |
Set a threshold to pre-emptively stop a run with more pending changes than expected. For a crud item, NIM compares the threshold with pending mapping operations. For a groupmembership item, NIM compares it with individual membership changes—each membership addition or removal—not the number of groups that have changes. Use the Enabled control to temporarily omit an item.

Arrange job items in the required execution order and save. A common design is one job per target system, containing its create, update, and delete mappings plus one group-membership operation.
Do not add more than one groupmembership operation for the same system to a job.
