Evaluate and execute a job

Follow this procedure to manually evaluate and execute a job.

To schedule recurring jobs in a production scenario, use Sync tasks.

For more information, see Jobs.

  1. For the relevant systems, Collect and load a system.

  2. For the relevant job, Edit a job.

  3. On the Configuration tab, select or clear checkboxes in the Enabled column to include or exclude individual items from the job.

  4. Click Save.

  5. Go to the Execution tab.

  6. Click Evaluate.

    The results of the evaluation are returned in the Log pane.

  7. If the evaluation results are acceptable, click Run.

  8. Optional: If necessary, click Abort to halt the job while it is running.

  9. The results of the execution are returned in the Log pane.
