Relate HR500 and Active Directory records

Match HR500 records with their Active Directory accounts.

Link each HR500 employee to the corresponding Active Directory user. The following filter uses this relation to identify employees who still need an account.

Choose the matching fields​

  1. Go to Processing > Relations.

  2. In the A pane, select HR500, employees, and employee_id.

  3. In the B pane, select AD, Users, and employeeID.

tip

For an AD target, an extension attribute or custom schema attribute can also be a good match key. Choose one that is writable and does not change over a user's lifetime.

Verify and save the relation​

  1. Click Match to preview the relationship.

  2. Review the results:

    • Left contains HR500 employees without a matching AD user.
    • Common contains records matched by the identifiers you selected.
    • Right contains AD users without a matching HR500 employee.

    In this example, HR500 has 585 employees, AD has 20 users, and no records match yet.

  3. Click Add, then confirm that the relation appears in Inter-System Relations.

  4. Click Save.

  5. Return to Systems > Overview and collect both systems again.
