Note
API connectivity is the recommended method but alteratively if database access is available then the Oracle Database Integration can be used. Typically Oracle Database integration is only needed when you can't retrieve blocked fields in the API. For example, PSGUID is only available via direct database query but not available via API or Data Exports
Open PowerSchool Admin Console
Click System Management
Click Server
Click Plugin Configuration.
If there is an existing instance of the Tools4ever plugin, remove it.
Click Install.
Click Install. The plugin appears in the Installed Plugins section on the Plugin Management Dashboard page.
Enable the plugin.
Open the plugin and navigate to Data Provider Configuration.
If the option shows "Access Level for v1 APIs", set it to "Full Access"
Set "Maximum Page Size" to 1000
Retrieve the Client Key and Secret for NIM
