Create a retention task in Scheduler and save it to reveal the cleanup settings.

Enable the applicable cleanup areas—system data, job data, and auditing data—and set the days to retain. Disable a toggle to exclude that area. Optionally configure log-file size and count limits.
tip
Start conservatively: system data for 7 days, job data for 30 days, and auditing data for 365 days. Confirm compliance requirements before changing these values.
