NIM

Onboarding

NIM Onboarding provides a streamlined account claim process, enabling end users to securely access their accounts without prior knowledge of their credentials. This process is facilitated through the use of a unique claim ID coupled with a series of verification questions to confirm user identity. Once the verification is successful, the Onboarding module efficiently performs various tasks including the setting of account passwords, enabling user accounts, and other necessary configurations. The process culminates with the presentation of a comprehensive summary screen to the user

In this scenario, the end user initiates the NIM Onboarding process without prior knowledge of their username, email address, or password. Upon completion of the onboarding, the user will have established a new password of their choice and will be informed of their username and email address.

  1. Accessing the Onboarding Module

    1. The user accesses the Onboarding module through a web browser. This can be done by navigating to either a general URL or a targeted URL that includes a secure ID specific to the user.

    1. General URL: Users entering through a general URL are prompted to submit their unique claim ID, which is typically an Employee or Student ID.

    2. Targeted URL: For those accessing via a targeted URL, this registration step is bypassed.
