Create, edit, or remove an event filter

Create an event filter
  1. Go to Events > Filters.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Enter a Filter Name. Select an Event Type and Event Name.

  4. Click Add.

  5. Optional: Turn off the filter toggle to convert the OR filter into an AND filter.

  6. Click Add to add a new filter condition.

  7. Click the new condition's Property field to select an event property to filter by.

    Tip

    The Example Data pane shows the available properties and their values for this event filter's associated event. This helps you select an appropriate Property, Operation, and Value.

  8. Click its Operation field to select a filtering criteria.

    equals

    An exact string match with the provided Value.

    exists

    Is non-empty. Does not use a Value.

    contains

    A sub-string match with the provided Value.

    changed

    Modified by the trigger event. Does not use a Value.

  9. If you selected equals or contains for the Operation, click the Value field to enter a value.

  10. Optional: Select the Invert checkbox to apply a logical NOT to the filter.

  11. Optional: Repeat steps (6) - (10) to add additional filtering criteria.

  12. Click Save.

  13. You can now specify this event filter in any of your event actions. See Edit an event action.

  1. Go to Events > Filters.

  2. Click Edit Event Filter for the relevant event filter.

  3. Continue by following the instructions in Create an event filter.

  1. Go to Events > Filters.

  2. Click Remove Event Filter for the relevant event filter.

  3. Click Yes.
